This week a two-day public art workshop (pictured above) was delivered to develop a story set in Thame that will be a central part of a Wayfinding trail being developed in Thame. Delivered by Nicola Henshaw - the lead artist in the project, and Pat Winslow, a professional story teller, the workshops were filled with drama, imagination, drawing and all sorts of fun creativity. The work created and developed at the workshops will influence the development of a trail that helps people to explore the heritage of Thame, and that also helps signpost clear walking routes across the town to encourage us all to walk or cycle more.
A second 2-day workshop will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th September. These will run from 10am - 3pm at The Scout Hut, Southern Road Recreation Ground. Although limited, there are still spaces available, so if you would like to take part then please email [email protected] to let her know. The sessions are open for all ages, and if you are only able to attend one of the days that is fine.
