A decent crowd turned up to witness this one and perhaps heard manager Mark West's words about needing fans at the stadium to support the team.
Thame dominated the first half and were unfortunate to not have scored more than one. Tutton poked the ball into net following a mistake by Kidlington number one.
Thame were awarded a second half penalty due to a foul on West inside the box. Mealing stepped up but the penalty kick was saved. Kidlington put the pressure on straight from the second half re-start but did not get the equaliser until the 71st minute with Patterson.
There was late drama where Kidlington's Castle was given a second yellow card and sent off the field. Kidlington made a tactical change and brought off forward Howards for a midfield player.
That means it's a replay over at Yarnton Road on Wednesday night.
The fourth win a row wasn't to be but the unbeaten run continues.

Man of the Match - Craig Hill as the Thame number 1 made some quality saves in second half and took every cross that came his way.
