The Thame Food Festival will return to the Thame Showground later this month, with a weekend of food, drink, live entertainment and family activities planned for Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September.
The annual festival will open at 10am on both days, with the event running until 6pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday. It will take place at the Thame Showground on Kingsey Road, OX9 3JL.
Visitors can expect a wide range of food and drink attractions, including an artisan food market featuring more than 100 producers, a street food zone and the Big Cookery Stage, where demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend.
There will also be live music, a new wine tasting studio, cocktail masterclasses, cheese tastings and a festival bar based inside a converted 1967 London Routemaster bus.
Families are also catered for, with children's cooking activities, circus workshops, rugby sessions and other activities taking place across the festival site. A family dog show will also be held, with dogs welcome at the event provided they remain on leads.
The festival's live music programme will feature a mix of blues, rock, pop, reggae, folk and soul. Saturday's line-up includes the John Hampden School Choir, Pearl Hart, The Time Travellers, Simon Gregory, Beth Coate and The Last Stand.
Tickets
Tickets are available online through the official Thame Food Festival ticketing page. Adult tickets for visitors aged 17 and over are £12, while tickets for children aged 12–16 are £6. Children under 12 can attend for free. A family ticket for two adults and two children aged 12–16 is £30.
Tickets can also be purchased at the festival gates, although advance tickets provide fast-track entry. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
