After nearly four decades of bringing colour and cheer to the heart of Thame, the beloved Thame Flower Stall is set to close for the final time. Owners Richard, Sarah, Jane, and Natalie announced their retirement in an emotional message shared with the community.
“For 39 amazing years, it’s been an absolute pleasure being part of the Thame community and bringing flowers and smiles to so many of you,” they wrote. Known for their warm presence and beautiful blooms, the team has become a staple of the town’s market life.
Over the years, the flower stall has not only provided fresh arrangements for birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries, but also forged deep personal connections with its customers. “We’ve loved getting to know our customers – sharing stories, laughs, and being part of your everyday moments and big occasions,” the team reflected.
The stall’s final day of trading will be Easter Saturday, April 19th, and the team is inviting all past and present customers to stop by for a final goodbye.
With heartfelt gratitude, the flower stall signs off on a high note—leaving behind a legacy of kindness, community, and, of course, flowers.
