Residents of Meadowcroft are in for a special treat as local firefighters from Thame Fire Station prepare to visit the community later this month.
The event, organised in partnership with Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service, will take place on Saturday 28th February at 10:30am at Meadowcroft, 78 Queen’s Road, Thame.
Firefighters will be on site for a relaxed and engaging morning, giving residents, relatives and members of the wider community the opportunity to meet the crew, chat with them about their work, and get a close-up look at a real fire engine. The visit aims to strengthen community connections while offering an exciting and memorable experience for everyone attending.
Organisers say the event will provide a wonderful opportunity for residents to learn more about fire safety, ask questions, and see firsthand the equipment used by their local emergency service.
