Thame defended well as a team and were clinical infront of goal in this match.
After a week's rest the Red Kites hosted the Centurions of Cirencester. The visitors are flying in the Southern League, currently sitting second in the table.
Thame historically are strong at home and continued that record into this FA Trophy Cup tie with Thame today netting £3000 in prize money and the prestige of progressing to the next round of the competition.
Greg Hackett bagged two goals and one assist and was a threat going forward throughout the game. Chris Rackley in goal put in a superb performance between the posts. Thame played the game with three in centre midfield with Sturgess, West and Wright clocking up the mileage. One scare for Thame was the injury to Goss's shoulder which will need to be assessed before the next game.
Thame now eagerly await the draw for the next round and the tie will be played on Saturday 31/10/2020.
