Thame dominate at the ASM Stadium

*** FT - Thame United 6-0 St Neots  ***

Saturday 19/10/2019

BetVictor Southern Division One Central

Thame dominated at the ASM Stadium.

It was a great occasion with local children's charity providing mascots and fundraising on the day. GK coach Matt Timberlake and Thame Youth U15s also provided a penalty shootout at HT for Thomley children.

Thame were clinical in the first half and went into the break 2-0 up. In the second half St Neots struggled to cope with Thame's pace in attack on the wings and through the middle.

Thame also had more energy throughout 90 minutes and every player played their part in this win.

St Neots were unfortunate to net a goal in 90 mins with Hill in goal making a couple of important saves and the Thame defence held firm throughout the duration.

Figaros Barber - Man of the Match voted by Thame Boys U15s is Ryan Blake.

Attendance - 147

Goals - West 32 , Ashworth 43, Blake 50, Essex 57, Hackett 66 and Mealing pen 80

Death Cafe @ Thame Barns Centre
You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
