Next week world leaders will come together at the 26th Glasgow ‘conference of the parties’ in united effort to tackle climate change. Here in Thame, businesses, schools, faith organisations and groups are invited to come together to do the same. A trained band of Thame COP researchers are already out and about having ‘COP conversations’ - finding out what’s already been going on locally to increase biodiversity and reduce emissions, and what else organisations can commit to doing. Watch out for the Thamecop.co.uk website which will launch at the beginning of November and showcase all the commitments made.
