Tetsworth Primary have qualified for the South-West of England Year Six Small Schools’ Football Finals in Bristol with a win over Blewbury Primary on penalties on Thursday 10th February.
They have also been crowned champions of Oxfordshire due to their win. The game ended 2-2 with goals from Otto Marriott and Ollie Burbidge-Russell and then went to penalties. Otto & Ollie both scored there penalties with goalkeeper Toby Rodham also saving a penalty during the shootout.
The boys now go on to represent their county at Bristol in March and will come up against other county winners such as Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire & Hampshire.
