Taste of Thame, the town’s much-loved annual celebration of local food and drink producers, is back on Saturday 24 May 2025, bringing a vibrant showcase of local flavours, creativity, and community spirit to the heart of Thame.
From 10am to 4pm, residents and visitors are invited to embark on the Taste of Thame food and drink trail, weaving through the town centre with over 30 participating outlets.
This year’s line-up features a diverse mix of stall holders, street food vendors, and local businesses, each offering a unique taste experience. Even four-legged friends are catered for, with Petcare serving up cupcakes and truffles for dogs!
Attendees can look forward to a packed programme of free tastings, live demonstrations, and interactive workshops.
The centrepiece of the event is the Buttermarket Banquet – a spectacular communal dining table stretching the length of the Buttermarket, where visitors can relax, savour their purchases, and enjoy the festival atmosphere with friends and family. All seating is free and open to everyone who wishes to buy food and drink from participating outlets and enjoy it together in the heart of town.
Taste of Thame is made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors Spear Travels Group, Lightfoots Solicitors, and Lucy Electric. The event also supports the local community, raising funds for the Thame Food Bank through the Spear Travels Taste of Thame prize draw.
