1. Be prepared for power outages; check your torch has batteries.
2. Remember to secure any loose garden items.
3. Beware there may be branches or debris in the road following a storm.
4. If possible, park your vehicle in a garage or well away from trees.
5. During high winds, try and stay indoors.
6. Slow down if driving on exposed routes and find alternative routes if possible.
