The Great British Spring Clean has been running since 2016, with more than 4.5 million bags of litter pledged to be picked during that time. As previously, the SODC waste team will be supporting community litter picking activities by providing litter pickers, hi-viz vests and bags to groups as well as picking up bagged litter.
To make a booking, group leaders must complete the booking form and declaration document found on SODC's dedicated web page. Please note that they cannot accept bookings until these forms have been received. Bookings are limited to 50 pickers per booking.
Please note that you can only collect litter which is picked from relevant land and not council parks, private or parish-owned land. Click here to view which land you can litter pick.
