Planning Update

9th July 2026

Below is an update on some planning applications in Thame:

Diagnostic Reagents, Chinnor Road (P26/S0179/FUL) – Amendments received and will be considered by the Town Council at its meeting on 28 July.

Lidl, Aylesbury Road (P25/S3492/FUL) – Hoarding has been erected around the former CPM site. Lidl do not yet have permission for this, or any work on site, so this will be raised to enforcement. The Lidl application remains under consideration by SODC and has not yet been determined. The Town Council remains in support of the proposals.

Battery Store, Howland Road (P26/S0864/FUL) – The application has been refused on the grounds of impact on the open and landscaped character of the area and inability to access the site in a safe way for maintenance.
