With the warmer weather and the easing of lockdown restrictions, the Town Council's maintenance team are encountering more and more rubbish in the parks and play areas. Every weekend they are finding quantities of broken glass, particularly in the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) at Elms Park which takes a lot of time to clear and make it safe. Please put your litter in the bins provided or take it home with you - don't leave it for other people to clear up your mess. The Thame Wombles who have been out and about litter picking around Thame reckon they have picked up over four tonnes of rubbish since they started in January.
