Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Thame, Aylesbury Road
Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting
Date of Order: 25 March 2024
Coming into force: 15 April 2024


This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works which are anticipated to be completed 23 April 2024. This will operate between 19:00 and 06:00hrs.


The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in that section of Aylesbury Road south of the A418/B4011/A4129 roundabout junction, to the Travelodge entrance.


Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.


Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.


The alternative route for traffic is via Aylesbury Road, B4445, Wenman Road, B4012, Tythrop Way, A4129 and vice versa.


This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
