There is a new and exciting sports club in the South - Sitting Bucks Volleyball Club.
Sitting Volleyball is an exciting and fast-growing sport in the UK. One of the main benefits is that at grass roots level, it can be played by everyone and anyone. With increased coverage and popularity of the Paralympics and Invictus Games, more people are getting into sitting volleyball and now you have an opportunity to play in the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire area.
The club is open to both disabled and non-disabled players, giving everyone the chance to compete together. They also cater for beginners as well as those who can already play volleyball so everyone is very welcome and no experience is necessary.
The sessions take place on Monday nights 7-9pm at Thame Leisure Centre (OX9 2BB) and most sessions are run by the very qualified and experienced volleyball coach, John Ballance. Sessions just cost £4 per session and there is no separate membership fee. Juniors can also come and train as long as accompanied by an adult at the session.
If you have never thought about having a go at sitting volleyball then come along and try out this exciting sport with a group of very friendly players; you will wonder why you never played before!
