The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a programme that helps you build skills for work and life, take on new challenges, meet new friends and have fun.
The programme is available to young people aged 15-17. It aims to help young people to connect with their local community, build skills and confidence, and expand their horizons with activities and projects plus, it looks great on your CV!
What is included in the cost?
- An outdoor residential at an activity centre in an idyllic location out of the county, with travel and all activities included.
- A discovery 5 day residential at Hill End Centre near Oxford.
- The opportunity to make a real difference in the community by designing and delivering a social action project
- Graduation ceremony at Oxford Brookes University and a certificate of achievement signed by the prime minister

Summer Experience Dates
Each experience lasts for four consecutive weeks, except date five which is three weeks. Transport, accommodation, activities and food are included. Sign up quickly as the programmes are filling up fast!
