Missing woman found – Chinnor

Please see the below note from Thames Valley Police:

 

We are pleased to say that a woman who was reported missing from Chinnor in Oxfordshire has been located.

Marieanna Fortman, aged 81, was reported missing from Wykeman Rise today (2/6).

She has now been found safe and well.

Thank you to the public and media for helping with the appeal.

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.

Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
