The Town Council recently reviewed the 2022-23 grant applications and agreed to award over £11,700 in grant funding to community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Thame. This grant funding will support projects which will benefit the community of Thame, such as a Sealed Knot Mini Muster event, a new repair café, the build of Thame Shed, first aid and IT equipment, and storage for sports equipment.
The following organisations received a grant as part of this year’s Grant Awards:
- 21st Century Thame
- 594 Air Cadets Thame
- Citizens Advice
- Friends of Elms Park
- Thame Hockey Club
- Thame Shed
The Town Council’s annual Grant Award scheme is for local organisations in the Thame area. The scheme aims to fund projects that address the needs, aspirations, and issues of the people in our community. Applications for next year’s Grant Awards will open in Spring 2023.
