Ex-professional and first team player to coach the rising U16s' squad
The current U15 / rising U16 coaching team will be enhanced with the addition of Junior Fatialofa for the 2019/20 season.
Junior has an impressive playing record starting in New Zealand, before spells with Cornish Pirates, Exeter Chiefs and Bristol before signing with Chinnor as player-coach five years ago. (For an idea of Junior's ability on the field do follow this link.)
Junior also brings a wealth of coaching experience and is looking forward to coaching the squad as they enter the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshie (OBB) League for the first time.
"I've been lucky to have a job playing rugby - it's given me lots of opportunities and I enjoy coaching players and helping them develop" said Junior. He added "It will be great to work with the new U16s in September".
The coching team of Mike Wiltshire, Jez Philpott , Mark Turvey, Simon Pearson and Chris Horne are looking forward to their new addition. The close-knit squad of players are looking for a few new members - anyone interested should check out the U15 Team on the club website.
