It's time for a Taste of Thame

This new event celebrating local and food takes place this Saturday 28 May in the town centre. Central to Taste of Thame is a food trail for you to explore. Pick up a map from participating venues or the Town Hall to discover free tasters, workshops, demonstrations, pop-up producer stalls and much more!

The Buttermarket Banquet will take centre stage and you will be able to take a seat at the long table set out under the festive bunting and enjoy delicious food and drink from one of the food trail venues or street food market which will be wrapped around the Town Hall.

On Montesson Square you will find stalls featuring local food and drink, plus local chefs to help you stock up on ideas using seasonal produce and providing inspiration for the perfect accompanying drinks.

Get the kids to collect their food trail cards from the library between 10.00am and 2.30pm. If they collect 10 different stamps from any of the Taste of Thame venues or street market stalls and return their completed cards to the library, they will receive a small reward!

It's not too late to buy your Taste of Thame raffle tickets, raising funds for Thame Foodbank. Tickets cost just £1.00 each and are available online at www.jumblebee.co.uk/tasteofthame or from the Information Centre in the Town Hall until 4.00pm on Friday. Loads of amazing prizes have been generously donated by venues and producers involved in this event.
