We have been informed that Thames Water are currently carrying out work at Thame sewage treatment works (STW) and a number of the surrounding sewage pumping stations.
They need to carry out maintenance work at the STW on Moorend Lane track. To do this they need to stop all flows coming into the STW which means they need to tanker all flows from the catchment to other STWs to be treated. This will be approximately 20 tankers coming and going 24/7, all depending on the incoming flows.

Cromwell Ave, OX9 3TT
Lashlake SPS, OX9 3DT
Oxford Road SPS, OX9 2AN
This work is likely to take 7 days, but may go on later with reduced tankers as the STW starts to work again after the work is completed at site and they turn back the flows to site (biological process).
