St Mary's Church is preparing for a series of free lunchtime concerts in Thame by local musicians.
The brainchild of retired businessman and amateur musician Peter Smith, the concerts will take place on the second Tuesday of the month, from 12.30pm to 1.15 pm, starting on Tuesday 10 September.
The first concert will feature Rive Duo: Jane Coulcher, flute and Richard Black, piano. Subsequent performers include: Wendlebury Winds, Bucks Cellos, and Clarity Clarinets.
Rev. Graham Choldcroft, Associate Minister at St Mary’s said, 'If you feel like a bit of “TLC” on a Tuesday lunchtime, please come along - and bring your sandwiches! The concerts are free, but if you would like to make a donation, all proceeds will go to the church and other charities.'
