The level of need in recent months has been below the peak experienced during the winter months but is still higher than experienced before the pandemic. Sharing Life are currently actively working with their key partners to prepare for the anticipated increase in demand resulting from the current cost of living crisis and are exploring ways of ensuring the best access to the cheapest available staple foods and how they can further support households on low incomes, particularly when the full impact of the energy price rises begin to impact in the autumn.

The Community Larder which meets at Christchurch every Thursday afternoon continues to grow and now has 90 members. This is open to all members of the local community. Full details can be found on the Community Larder page of the website. https://www.sharinglifetrust.org/community-larder
