Excitement Builds as the 40th CPM Thame 10K Nears – Limited Places Remaining!

27th May 2025

With just under five weeks to go, anticipation is mounting ahead of the 40th CPM Thame 10K, set to take place on Sunday, 29th June in the beautiful surroundings of Oxfordshire. This milestone event promises another memorable day for runners, spectators, and families alike.

Race preparations are well underway, and organisers are thrilled to see that entries are nearing full capacity. However, a few coveted spots remain, so those eager to take part are encouraged to register as soon as possible via the Thame Runners website.

In addition to the main 10K event, the day will feature the hugely popular Colour Run, hosted by Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA). This vibrant, family-friendly race is designed for children of all ages and adds an extra splash of colour and fun to the festivities.

The TVAA will also be on hand to keep energy levels high with a selection of refreshments available for both runners and spectators throughout the day.

Organisers are hopeful for sunshine and clear skies as they prepare to welcome participants and supporters to what promises to be a day to remember.

“See you there,” says Rod Lavers, Race Secretary, on behalf of the Thame 10K Race Committee.

We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
