Thomley will once again be lighting up the skies on Saturday, 25th October from 5–8pm with its much-loved reduced sound fireworks display.

The event offers a stunning visual experience with carefully selected fireworks that are every bit as dazzling, but without the loud bangs of traditional displays. The reduced noise ensures a more inclusive and enjoyable evening, particularly for those who find loud sounds overwhelming.

Visitors can enjoy the display from the familiar and welcoming surroundings of Thomley, with ear defenders available for those who need them. For extra comfort, the pavilion will also be open as an indoor viewing option. Lanterns will add a magical touch to the evening’s atmosphere.

Family-Friendly Fun

Alongside the fireworks, there will be a wide selection of food and drink on offer, including pizzas, hot dogs, sticky toffee apple crumble, candy floss, beer, wine, prosecco, gin, and soft drinks—plenty to keep everyone fed and happy.

Ticket Information

  • £26 per family (2 adults and 2 children)

  • £9 single tickets

  • Members receive a 10% discount (email for code).

Tickets must be purchased in advance through Thomley’s online calendar: www.thomley.org.uk/calendar.

Thomley is encouraging early booking as this popular event is expected to sell out quickly.

✨ Don’t miss this spectacular evening of fireworks, food, and family fun—without the bang!

You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
