The much-loved Thame Fireworks Display returns on Saturday, 8th November at Chinnor RFC Thame, promising an evening of spectacular entertainment, community spirit, and fundraising for a great cause.

This year’s event will help raise vital funds for three fantastic local primary schools — Barley Hill Primary School, John Hampden Primary School, and St. Joseph’s School. Every ticket purchased will directly support these schools and the children who attend them.

Gates and bars open from 4:00pm, giving families and friends plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere before the main event. A children’s entertainer will perform in the marquee from 4:30pm, ensuring plenty of fun for younger visitors ahead of the dazzling fireworks display, which begins at 6:30pm.

Organisers are encouraging attendees to arrive early and make the most of the community celebration. With delicious food, drinks, and the chance to catch up with friends and neighbours, it’s set to be a highlight of Thame’s autumn calendar.

🎟 Tickets are available now via Ticketpass.

Come for the fireworks — and stay for the food, friends, and the unbeatable community spirit that makes Thame shine. 💥

You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
