The Black Horse has extended the Eat Out To Help Out scheme for the whole of October. Please see below:

Your support has been wonderful since we opened our doors &, to say thank you, we have decided to continue Eat Out to Help Out throughout October, Mon-Wed as before! Same great deal, same warm welcome & the freshest, tastiest food all served with a smile by our lovely team. You'll be able to continue enjoying 50% off your food and non-alcoholic drinks bill (up to a maximum of £10pp) when dining with us all day ‪Monday to Wednesday until the 28th October inclusive.

This offer is available for existing and new members of our database so if you already receive our newsletter, check your email for your personalised QR code. If not, simply head to our website to sign up and you will receive a code emailed directly to you.

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. When: Last Tuesday of every month, 11:00am–12:00pm (starting 28 July 2026)Where: Haddenham Park Care Home & Apartments, Tibbs Road, Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, HP17 8FH A supportive space to stay active, share experiences, and meet others affected by stroke.

Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
