CHINNOR RFC Thame are delighted to be able to host NTL Biologica for COVID-19 antibody testing this month.
Situated in our car park, their mobile testing unit will be at the Club on Tuesday, September 15 and it is open to the general public.
An antibody test is a blood test to check if you have had COVID-19 before.
As a member benefit, all members of Chinnor RFC Thame will be able to obtain a 10 per cent discount on their test and have already been messaged separately about this.
NTL Biologica is an Oxfordshire based UK Medical Technology company whose primary business is the manufacture and distribution of Stem Cell harvest kits, used widely in the orthopaedic surgical sector.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, their core business was halted as the need for beds was prioritised for patients.
They were able to focus their expertise and activities in finding solutions for the control of the virus. Following this, they developed the idea of a mobile COVID-19 Antibody testing unit.
The test costs £60 and has an accuracy rate of 97 per cent. It takes just five minutes and your results will be returned within 12 hours.
