Can Beacon Festival 2019 Beat the £13,000 it gave to Charity in 2018 and become Plastic Free?
This is the challenge Beacon Festival organisers have set themselves as the event enters its 6th year. After giving away its largest ever donation to Charity in 2018, the Not for profit event is being held on June 21st and 22nd 2019 and the team are confident after last year’s success, 2019 will be the first time Beacon Festival SELLS OUT!
The environment has always been at the heart of Beacon Festival, which is why 2019 should mean the festival will be a plastic free zone, as all vendors have been banned from using plastic at the venue, and we will be encouraging all festival goers to also think about the impact of using single use plastics.
As well as having distinctly green principles, Beacon Festival has gained a reputation for booking exciting new musical talent. 2019 is no different with the festival already announcing two amazing headline acts. Friday night headliners Tankus The Henge will entertain the crowds with their funk filled repertoire of New Orleans inspired swing and heavy rock riffs. This self-proclaimed wild groove machine is currently breaking onto National Radio, so we really believe we have chosen one of the UK’s hardest working breakthrough bands.
Our Music will extend to almost 1am on both nights and the main stage on Saturday will end with Guns or Roses, who will rock the Chilterns with their classic festival anthems! While again the festival will close at 2am on both nights. Beacon Festival continues to attract the best of local talent but this year we even have a touring band from New Zealand who are about to make waves in the UK, Hypnumb.
