It looks like a lovely day for a walk around town! While you are there why not enjoy Thame Art Crawl which launched today. This event features the work of 22 artists across 15 venues and is the first town centre event that has been able to go ahead since the start of lockdown. Most of the artwork can be viewed through the windows of the venues involved making sure that you feel safe at all times. Where there is art inside (which is clearly stated on the posters in the windows), each venue has hand sanitiser, social distancing measures and restricted capacity in place, so if the venue is full when you arrive please be prepared to wait for a short period of time. Please come and support the artists and venues taking part. Maps are available from the Town Hall today and tomorrow until 1pm; from fitch & fellows or Thame Museum during opening times; or can be downloaded from the website.
Alongside the Art Crawl, today is also the launch of Thame Arts & Literature festival which this year is all online in their DigiTAL event. They have a brilliant line up of speakers for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home over the next 4 days, so if you haven't already had a look why not explore their programme here https://talfestival.org/
