The overnight snow has caused unsafe driving conditions for SODC waste trucks so they have decided to cancel their waste collections today. This is for the safety of other road users, pedestrians and their waste crews. If your bins were due to be emptied today, please leave them out - they will begin catching up on Monday, weather permitting.
This may have a knock-on effect on Monday's scheduled collections - if your bins aren't emptied next week, leave them out for three days from your scheduled collection day.
