Thame was rocking on Saturday as the town centre played host to Thame Town Music Festival.
With Thame basking in scorching temperatures, live music fanatics flocked to Thame town centre to listen to 58 different acts in 8 different venues.
After Tony Hadley dropped out last minute it was up to Thame's Mayor Tom Wyse to open the festival, and he did a sterling job. The festival's headline act was the Sex Pistols' bass guitarist Glen Matlock and friends who entertained revellers from 8pm. The town was absolutely rocking all day and celebrations continued late into the night.
One reveller said: "What a fantastic day everybody has had. With the disappointment of Thame Food Festival moving to the showground it was great to see so many people enjoying themselves, by singing and dancing the night away in the town centre. What a great town and community spirit we have here. Thame is really putting themselves on the map with all this fantastic live music. I've never seen the Town Hall look so lively"
