Lord Williams's student, Jodie Fisher is fundraising for the creation of her book on experiencing Childhood Leukaemia. Read the message below from Jodie:
"My name is Jodie Fisher, I am a year 13 student at Lord Williams and I am willing to pursue my dream of having my book, which I have been writing since I was 12, published.
My book follows the experiences and trauma I faced upon my cancer diagnosis when I was 11. This book will show readers that there is so much more to a cancer diagnosis than one realises. From the suffering as a consequence of the persistence of chemo, to the many inspirational people I met along the way, and the celebrations that came after 2 and ½ years of gruelling treatment, including meeting two very famous TV presenters thanks to Make a Wish!
I have set up a GoFundMe which will pay for the initial production of my book, I really hope that my kind-hearted community will spread my word further into the world, ensuring that my voice is heard and my words are read by many who may be facing/may have faced, the same battle as me.
