A grand opening event for the new skatepark at Whites Field is scheduled for Monday, May 4th.
The "Opening Jam" will take place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mill Lane site (OX39 4QU). The afternoon is set to feature a variety of activities to celebrate the new community space, including:
- Rider Demos: Professional demonstrations showcasing the park's features.
- Competitions: Opportunities for local riders to compete for various prizes.
- Entertainment: Live music will be played throughout the four-hour event.
The event is open to the public and all skill levels are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own skateboards, scooters, or bikes and join their friends for the first official session at the facility.
