The planning application P25/S3492/FUL remains under consideration by the District Council. The following matters are pending, before a decision can be made on the application.
- Highways – supports subject to a new Road Safety Audit, parking spaces being compliant with county standards, and more information on the proposed right turn-in arrangements and HGV access.
- Flooding (Lead Local Flood Authority Engineer) – supports subject to more details on the surface water drainage strategy, Sustainable Drainage System and its maintenance.
- Ecology – requests more information on the number of trees on site. The applicant has now submitted the requested information regarding the proposed bat house, and car park lighting.
- Environment Agency – No response submitted yet.
There has not yet been a response from the District Council to comment on the impact of the proposal on Thame’s Town Centre. Based on the response from County Highways, it appears that the Town Council’s request to improve crossings and access from the nearby area (such as at Bell Lane) will not be progressed.
