A police helicopter spotted a 4x4 vehicle in a field near Thame, prompting a coordinated response from officers. Units from ICR and the Joint Operations Unit attended the scene.
Following the operation, the occupants of the vehicle left the 4x4 and attempted to flee. Police tracked the individuals using a dog unit and arrested three people on suspicion of coursing and driving offences.
Officers also seized five dogs at the scene. Authorities said the dogs will be rehomed.
The three arrested individuals are expected to be interviewed by RCT officers later today.
