Homes in the UK have the worst insulation and are the leakiest in Western Europe. This has a knock-on impact on comfort, quality of life and energy bills. That’s why we are hosting our Cosy Streets event on 12th March, to provide everyone living in Thame and surrounding villages with ideas about how to improve your homes: from cheap, quick and easy DIY fixes to more substantial interventions.
The event will showcase the results of an extensive thermal imaging street survey, which looked at more than 40 houses of every age and type in local streets in Thame, Haddenham, Long Crendon and Towersey.
A mix of local experts will then discuss intervention options by different property type, including any grants that are available. You will leave this event with clear next steps on ways you can improve your home.
