Thame Football Partnership Launches Christmas Holiday Football Club

18th December 2025

Young footballers in Thame are being invited to stay active this Christmas as Thame Football Partnership announces the return of its popular Holiday Football Club.

The Christmas football camp is open to children aged 6 to 12 and will run over two days on Monday 22 December and Tuesday 23 December. Organisers promise that each day will be “packed with fun football activities,” with sessions designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for players of all abilities.

The club is welcoming to everyone, with the organisers stressing that participants do not need to be experienced footballers to take part. The focus will be on enjoyment, teamwork and developing skills in a supportive environment.

Places for the holiday sessions are limited and must be booked in advance. The cost is £27 per day, with multi-day discounts available for families booking more than one session. Bookings can be made through the Thame Football website, either via the payments section or by using the shop tab online.

The Holiday Football Club is run by Thame Football Partnership, which is affiliated with Thame United FC and is an FA-accredited club, giving parents reassurance about coaching standards and player welfare.

Anyone seeking further information is encouraged to contact the organisers by email.

The Christmas sessions are expected to be popular and families are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

You are warmly invited to attend Death Cafe in Thame. at 7:30pm in room 1 of the Barns Centre, and held on the third Thursday of each month thereafter A Death Cafe is an informal gathering where people can discuss death over tea and cake. We’re aiming to normalise the topic of death, raise acceptance, and help people make the most of their lives by breaking the taboo around mortality. It is not a grief support group or counselling session. These sessions have no agenda, objectives, or themes, allowing for organic, group-directed conversations about anything related to death, from end-of-life planning to fears and feelings, fostering open sharing in a respectful, confidential space. Death Cafe is run on a not-for-profit basis but if you are able to make…
