The Thame Players have taken a big step towards sustainability thanks to funding from the Councillor Community Grant Scheme, which helped install solar panels on the roof of their theatre.
With support from the scheme, alongside additional contributions, the group has successfully reduced the venue’s energy use, making it both more efficient and environmentally friendly.
The move not only cuts costs for the theatre but also highlights the importance of greener solutions within the community.
Local community groups looking to follow in their footsteps can also benefit from the grant scheme. The fund offers financial support to help projects become more sustainable and resilient.
