Looking for a warm welcome and a good conversation? The Chatty Café Scheme has arrived at Candelo Lounge on High Street, offering a friendly space for locals to connect over a cuppa every Monday from 10am to 12pm.
The initiative features a “Chatter & Natter” table in the front room of the café, hosted by a cheerful volunteer ready to welcome anyone who fancies a chat. Whether you’re feeling a bit lonely, new to town, or simply enjoy meeting new people, this is the perfect chance to sit down and share a few words in a relaxed, sociable setting.
Open to all ages, the Chatty Café Scheme aims to combat loneliness and strengthen community ties, one conversation at a time. You’re welcome to stay for five minutes or the whole two hours—it’s all about making connections in a casual and inclusive environment.
