Thame, January 2025 – Looking to kick off the new year with an exciting challenge? The Thame Duellists Fencing Club invites you to experience the art of swordplay with free taster sessions on 16 January 2025.

Whether you’re an adventurous child, an aspiring teen, or an adult looking to try something new, these sessions are the perfect introduction to fencing. The schedule for the taster sessions is as follows:

  • 7-11 year olds (school years 3-6): 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • 11-18 year olds and adults: 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM

Step Into Your Swordfighting Dreams

Fencing combines fitness, strategy, and fun in a dynamic sport that’s as exhilarating as it is engaging. Following the taster sessions, the club will offer an 8-week beginners course starting on 30 January 2025, along with regular sessions tailored for children aged 7-11.

No need to worry about equipment — all the necessary kit will be provided, so you can focus on honing your skills in a supportive and friendly environment.
