Risborough Environmental Group are holding their next work party to begin the construction of a small number of refuges for reptiles and amphibians known as “hibernacula”. These are simply low mounds of solid material that are covered with vegetation with plenty of gaps and voids within, where (hopefully!) reptiles and other wildlife can hibernate and shelter through the year. All welcome; no building skills necessary !
