The AGM, held last Thursday, 27th May, at Thame Football Partnership, saw a historic decision as those present voted 100% in favour of merging the founder member clubs under the Thame United name. This means that for the upcoming season 40+ teams, from Under 7s through to the First team will play under the "United" banner including the newly formed Veterans & Over 50’s sides.
Board members Jake Collinge and Richard Carr both see this as a massive boost to all involved as it will bring everyone closer together whilst providing increased commercial opportunities.
Next season Thame United first team will play in the Southern League Central Division, Thame United Reserves will play in the Spartan South Midlands League, the third team in Hellenic Division 2, & the fourth team in the Aylesbury & District League.
Junior section teams will continue to play in their respective leagues but we will all now be known as Thame United
