COME and enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend at Thame’s largest outdoor covered beer garden!

The Bird in Hand at Chinnor RFC Thame is the perfect venue to relax with your friends and family.

It is a spacious and safe experience within the beautiful surroundings of our Kingsey Road ground, with rolling countryside at every turn and glorious sunsets.

The Bird In Hand will be open from 11am on Saturday, May 1 with our Bank Holiday BBQ fired up from 1pm.

Our menu includes jerk beef, lemon & oregano chicken, roast cauliflower with curried hummus and, of course, beef burgers and hot dogs.

We will also be open from 1pm on the Sunday and Monday, so why not enjoy a beer with us.

Haddenham Park Care Home: Stroke UK Meet & Move
Join the Stroke UK Meet & Move monthly support group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Hosted as part of the Stroke Association support network, each session offers helpful information, resources, and a welcoming community. Stroke survivors can take part in a 45–60 minute exercise class led by a qualified instructor, while caregivers can enjoy coffee and social time in the piano lounge and connect with others. Join this free monthly support group for people living with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Held on the first Monday of every month from 11:00am–12:00pm, the session includes a gentle, physiotherapist-led exercise class for participants with Parkinson's, while caregivers can enjoy coffee, cake and the opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
