Sue Boyle's lockdown quiz nights

If you're looking for some entertainment during lockdown, look no further than Sue and Phil Boyle's weekly quiz which is always very light-hearted and they try to vary the rounds to make it more entertaining than daunting! This lockdown they have started to include a specialist round which they tell people about a week before; next week it will be chocolate! Each week they post a picture round to accompany the quiz at around 6.00pm on the Tuesday evening - ideal to have a look at whilst you're cooking or eating dinner!

To join, people simply need to go to the Sue Boyle Quiz Nights page on Facebook. Just before 8.00pm it goes live and to take part you simply need to click the link when it comes up. The quiz lasts around an hour and many people link up with friends or family using Zoom or other platforms.

This didn't set out on this as a fund-raiser but as the weeks went by last year and it got to May, Sue and Phil asked that if people wished to donate, they could support them in raising money for the Stroke Association (their son suffered a stroke aged 20 back in 2012 and has since made a great recovery) and people continue to be so generous. This is the link to their Just Giving Fund Raising page, but there is no expectation and no charge to play along:
