The Thame Green Living Plan (GLP) is a plan to protect and enhance our quality of life locally in the things that really matter – our air, our water, our overall well-being and the natural world that surrounds us. It presents a 10 year plan for a cleaner, greener Thame and includes over 180 actions and projects that involve and benefit the whole community, from individuals and families to schools and businesses.
The RSA Thame Group, a local group of Fellows of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce, were appointed by Thame Town Council as honorary consultants to assist in the creation of a Green Living Plan for Thame. This dedicated group, with the help of extra volunteers, spent years researching and developing the plan, working closely with the Town Council and engaging much of our community in its formation. On Tuesday 14 July 2020 Thame Town Council formally adopted this plan and we are incredibly excited to let you know that in just 2 weeks this will be officially launched and available for you to read in its entirety.
Watch this space for more information to follow next week, and the all-important link to the main plan on 1 October 2020!
