There has been an amazing response from local businesses and the community following Lord Williams's School's recent appeal for laptops, with upwards of 80 laptops being donated!
Students have been home schooling since March and for some families where access to a Wi-Fi enabled device has been limited, it’s been a struggle to keep up with the school work provided online.
Nicky Stallwood, Careers Lead has been co-ordinating the appeal: “The response from local business and the community has been phenomenal. We have donations upwards of 80 laptops and still counting. This is going to make a massive difference to the learning potential of many students struggling to work from home. Our huge thanks to everyone for their donations”.
If you have old laptops you are no longer using, please consider gifting them to the school. The school’s ICT team will wipe and clean the devices and make them student ready. Please contact Nicky Stallwood: [email protected].
