January is usually a very busy month for the foodbank and this year has been no exception. 49 food parcels were distributed providing for 66 adults and 70 children. If you are able to add an extra item to your shopping basket and drop it into the foodbank in the Town Hall, the most needed items currently are long life fruit juice and tins of fruit and vegetables. Other much needed items include cereal, UHT milk, tea, coffee, washing powder and tablets and sanitary products.
