Skate park closure update

Thame Town Council has received a number of enquiries regarding the closure of the skate park. Alongside all the other play areas in Thame the skate park was closed in line with government guidelines. Thames Valley Police have also confirmed that the skate park must remain closed until further notice. The skate park, like all our play areas is inspected annually by RoSPA and weekly by our maintenance team to ensure it is safe to use.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to regularly inspect the play areas or skate park and therefore for this reason too these areas must remain closed.

The area has been fenced off and the police have assured us they will be increasing patrols in the area, however if you see anyone trying to gain access please contact the police on 101.
